Alzheimer’s feels like death only the physical body is still there. Watching a loved one suffer with Alzheimer’s is horrible. My dad was a very strong man, he could do, would do and did do whatever he pleased. Watching him become weaker and scared was hard to watch. The man that was once my protector now needed to be protected.
For my own Mother watching her Mother (my Grandmother) cry and beg for her children to take her home when her house had long since been sold. My grandmother put up a terrible fuss when they sold her house and she moved into with my Mom. She lived with my Mother for a couple of years and then they had to put her in a retirement home because they were afraid something would happen to her when my Mom went to work.
That is why my children and I will be participating in the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk. It’s an easy walk usually 2-3 miles, our local one is at a beautiful park and it is 2.5 miles long. It is a great way to spend time with my children outside, get exercises and it is all for a worth cause. I want a solution to Alzheimer’s before it ever gets a chance to touch my Mom or my Father-in-law. There are walks available in over 600 communities. Find your local one and spend some time taking a walk to help fight against Alzheimer’s.

Last night my husband and I were watching the travel channel. They were doing a special on what to visit while in Las Vegas. I’ve never been there but I know my husband would love to take his father there sometime and if he goes so am I. I’d love to see the new shows they put on. I think besides a Broadway Show in New York, there is nothing better than seeing a Live Las Vegas performance.
Right now there is a new Cirque Du Soleil performance featuring CRISS ANGEL called CRISS ANGEL Believe.
Criss Angel’s show is like no other illusionists show. Criss uses many other characters in his show to almost make it like a play. He plays a character in his own illusion and brings the audience with him while he spins a magical tale. There is an entire cast of characters and dancers that will bring forth his fantasy and make it seem like a magical reality. His talents and tricks won’t be just presented in a stand up show like the old style magicians. Instead his talents play along side a story which will keep you on the edge of your seat.
You too can see CRISS ANGEL, now appearing at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas by entering their contest. You need to Text ‘Believe’ to 22122 to win 2 tickets to the ‘CRISS ANGEL Believe’ show. I know it is a show I’d love to see. Criss Angel performs magic like no other. Visit the site, check out the video previews, watch the countdown, see who is behind this magical show and other fun things.

Mary- In Plain Sight.
Did any of you happen to catch that new show, In Plain Sight on USA that premiered on June 1st? It’s about Mary, a female U.S. Marshal, working with the Federal Witness Protection Program. She has to hide witnesses, good and bad all the while keeping her family in the dark. Betcha can’t find Mary on my page. Right. It is her job to hide people and keep them safe.
Her partner is a handsome kind of guy and you know they’ll have some type of love interest. Then you’ve got Mary’s ex boyfriend, hot and hunky. She prefers to think of him as her friends with benefits guy, I wouldn’t mind thinking that myself.
Also are her spoiled ditsy Mother and Sister. They sponge off of Mary and live to annoy her with their bad boy choices, not having jobs and lazy ways. Last but not least the super hunky Detective who has sexual chemistry with her as well. Everyone wants a little Mary.
I’ve got to see it. This Sunday, USA Network’s new original series In Plain Sight. I’ve meant to watch it but Sunday night is our family night and since I don’t have that fancy tivo or dvr or whatever I haven’t seen it yet. But I do have old fashioned vhs so I’m setting my cell phone to tell me, this coming Sunday!

I signed up for SocialSpark. Social Spark is a cross between say myspace/facebook for the social aspect and blogcatolog/stumbled/digg for the spark part. Advertisers pay for you to write posts about their products or services. Once you sign up for SocialSpark they’ll approve you blog and you can begin writing posts and getting paid.

Here you can see the different types of jobs available to me and the prices they pay. If certain job looks interesting you will click on the link and they will tell you the types of things they’d like to see. You are always supposed to give an honest opinion and not just make up things you think the advertiser will want to see. That is just one of the many bonuses with Social Spark you have -100% Audit-able In-Post Disclosure -100% Transparency -100% Real Opinions! Another benifit is that with SocialSpark they are 100% Search Engine Friendly!

This is my Social Spark profile. Here you can see when I joined, my friends, my props (which I need more of!) as well as some information about me and my blogs. When I click on a job I can choose to accept it, after doing so it will show the opportunity as reserved for me.

They will send you a message and you will have between 6 and 12 hours to complete the job. As you can see in this picture this post that I am making is worth $7.75. I need a minimum of 250 words and a couple of links. Since I already use social spark and enjoy using it it is extremely easy for me to write the post. Most posts don’t take too long to research and write. It is a super nice way to bring in extra income for my family. As you know I was recently able to buy my family the Guitar Hero game along with two guitars with the income made from my online posts. I like social spark and I think you will too.
