Do you think it is appropriate (or right) for a teacher to be eating in her/his class in front of her/his students who are NOT allowed to eat in class?

Remember it isn’t like when we went to school and the teachers had no free time. They get lunch because they have “duty” people who watch the kids while the teachers have lunch. They also have an hour and a half free time every morning when all the students are taking their electives. They also only show up to school about 10 minutes before their students and some (most) teachers leave school as soon as the last bell rings.

So tell me what you think, please.

What is the healthiest thought you have regularly about yourself? I am a good mother. What is the unhealthiest? I am not a good mother.

What do you like best about your best friend? I like that she speaks her mind but mostly I like that she understands me or pretends to. 

What one thing have you done that pleased your parents the most? Probably the way I’m raising my kids. I’ll have to ask my Mom.

1. Do you feel that children these days are disciplined enough?  No way.

2. What are your thoughts about the “time out chair?”  If it works for your child then groovy.

3. When YOU were a child, what form of discipline did your parents use most often? My parents were pretty lax, I got growned a couple of times but they never followed through. I think I got spanked twice.

4. Did your parents have to constantly remind you of the guidelines they set for you, or did they just have to LOOK at you as a “gentle” reminder?  Neither

5. What are your thoughts about screaming kids in public places?  It depends on what they are screaming about… kids make noise and people without children need to deal with it.

6. What do you feel is the BIGGEST mistake parents make when it comes to disciplining children? Listening to other parents. You and only you can decide how to discipline.

1. Two refreshing drinks:  ice tea, mt dew
2. Two places that are always cool (home, mall, work, etc.): Library, my husband’s work
3. Two ways you keep cool: swim, air conditioning
4. Two items of clothing/shoes that are a must (tank tops, shorts, etc.) pjs, dresses
5. Two places you’d go on vacation to to get away from the heat: its hot all over… there is no where I want to go that might be cooler.
