Mrs Groovy

My husband is home! As much as I love having him back home, I sure didn’t care for him last night while we were sleeping. He tried to steal my pillows, he pulled my hair while trying to steal my pillows and he snored so loud I had to kick push him to roll over. But honestly even though he was a pain to sleep with, he was so warm I didn’t mind. I missed him more than he’ll ever know. I’m so glad he’s back home.

My son’s birthday is Monday and I have to get to the store this weekend for his birthday stuff for school and home. I haven’t bought anything for him yet. Well, that’s not totally true. I called one of my husband’s employees yesterday, he also works at HotTopic and asked him to please pick up a few Naruto things they sell there. I got his discount and I didn’t have to drive three towns over. He got him a cool shirt, a poster and a magazine all with Naruto on them. Now I just need to get some legos and we’re set. Well, that and the whole snack stuff for school.

A break in my break… Remember those dang valentines for the soldiers? We had a little over 600 of them. Well, this morning they are at my daughter’s school. Not because we won but because another class won and they only had a few more than us. Can I just admit I am beyond mad? My daughter could care less, but dang I am so ticked off. I could have easily done at least 100 more! They probably stole the idea from us. Stupid jerks.

I need a serious break for a bit. Since I can’t take any paid jobs there seems to be nothing pushing me to write, therefor I’m not writing. Since my husband will be gone some of this coming week I’ll be extra busy.

We have more dang snow. Can you believe this crap? It isn’t a light dusting either. When I drove my son into school the flakes had just started but by the time I was on my way home the snow was coming down quite heavy and big huge flakes. I saw there was a 30% chance of snow and rain for today on the weather last night but I must admit I didn’t believe it. Guess they were actually right. I’m not so thrilled about it and I just hope it is all gone by the time my husband has to go out of town, or we just may miss the entire week. Ok, not really but dang.
