I have a slight addiction to Hallmark.

I’m going to try to limit myself to posting just a few some of my favorite Christmas ornaments from Hallmark. Its our ritual to get our Ornaments at the first part of November when I get my special invitation from Hallmark. I’ve been doing this since 1987. When each child was born then I started collecting ornaments for them too. When they move out, they’ll have at least 18 if not more because some years it was hard to pick just one.

So here we go…

Still looking for gift ideas? One year I put flashlights in the kids’ stockings, they totally loved it. OpticsPlanet.com has hundreds of gift ideas. They are a a leader in optics and so much more. They have so many things to chose from it might be difficult to pick just a few. They offer 100% satisfaction guarantee and FREE ground shipping on any order of $29.95 or more. Free shipping rocks in my book. Nothing bugs me more when I pay more for shipping than the product I’m buying.

Honestly though OpticsPlanet.com has so many great items, such as binoculars, telescopes (my daughter wants one of these BAD), prescription goggles (I didn’t even know they made these) Rifle scopes, range finders, spotting scopes, microscopes (both kids want this!) and you can even find Ray-Ban sunglasses. It is almost impossible to leave this site without buying something, even when you don’t have any needs. Check them out today and finish up your Christmas shopping.

Time with my family is the best time.

I am ready for the kids’ Christmas break to start. Thanksgiving was such a tease. I just want all my people to be home. We are all such homebodies. Last night my husband was exhausted from working extra hours doing several inventories. He was laying on the bed flipping channels, then my son came in and laid with him and they flipped channels. When Survivor came on, I laid with them and my son and I snuggled up to my husband. It was pure heaven. The only ones missing were our daughter (she was on the phone with her girlfriend) and Kirby (he doesn’t like to be crowded). It was the perfect evening and everyone was asleep by 9:30.

Looks like the perfect plan for spring break.

After going to California to visit Disneyland a couple of times with my Mother-in-law I know that there is so much more I want to see and do in California. I really would like to go to San Diego. My husband has told me stories of when he and his father visited the San Diego Zoo. The kids and I would love to see the zoo.

There is a company, called Trusted Tours and Attractions that will help you book your tours. They have a huge variety of tours available too. You could take a two hour Old Town Trolley Tour of San Diego. Visit the San Diego Zoo or book the two together and save even more. If you love the water you could take the San Diego SEALs Harbor tour, a1 hour Harbo Cruise or even go on a Dinner Cruise.

Get a Hollywood CityPass with gets you into the Hollywood Wax Museum, Starline Tours of Hollywood, Red Line Tours and the Kodak Theatre or the Hollywood Museum in the famous Max Factor Building. There is also a very interesting San Diego Haunted Ghost Tour for 1½ hour tour to visit San Diego’s Haunted Locations.

My son though would be taking the tour to Legoland. They’ve got lots of rides, plenty of shows and many other attractions. Plus there is plenty of legos to play with and that could keep him content for quite some time.

Sign up for the Trusted Tours and Attractions newsletter and you are automatically entered to win four free ticket tours to the city of your choice. But you have to hurry because the offer goes away Friday, December 14, 2007.
